VIRTUAL PHOTOGRAPHY
Virtual Photography/Digital Photography is the act of taking photos within Video Games.
Within certain Video Games, developers have introduced a "Photo Mode" feature which allows users/players to pause the game and move their camera around the scene adapting features they would with a real life camera such as:
- Field of View
- Focal Length
- Focus
- Depth Of Field
- Aperture
- Exposure

Online, there is a large and growing Community involved with Virtual Photography. When Twitter created their new spaces named "Communities" I developed a space for Virtual Photographers to come together and share their photos.
On a weekly basis, the Community are given a new theme to explore their photography differently. There are over 1k creatives active.

Whilst working on The Division 2, I was amazed at the level of Photography that the community were sharing regularly. I decided to write an article which swayed from the norm, and created an article focusing solely on Virtual Photography.
The article was a success and we saw more people using the hashtags to promote their work and it inspired folk to get more involved with the photo mode feature.
